Empowering Women in Science - Science Europe

About Us

STEAMHers is an organization dedicated to empowering women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Founded by Shreya Baronia and Maider Escobar, STEAMHers aims to create a supportive community for women to thrive in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide educational resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to women and girls of all ages. We believe that by fostering a collaborative environment, we can inspire the next generation of female leaders in STEAM.

We aim to break down barriers and create a more inclusive STEAM community. Our initiatives are designed to empower women and girls with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

Through our partnerships with schools, universities, and industry leaders, we strive to provide real-world experiences and connect our members with role models and mentors who can guide them on their journey.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." - Nelson Mandela

Our Vision

We envision a world where women are equally represented in all areas of STEAM.

Through our advocacy and initiatives, we aim to break down barriers that hinder women's progress in STEAM, whether they be cultural, systemic, or institutional. We envision a future where young girls grow up knowing that they have a place in STEAM careers and where established professionals find support and opportunities to advance their careers and leadership roles.

Ultimately, our vision extends beyond equality to equity, where resources, opportunities, and recognition are distributed fairly among all genders, ensuring that no woman is left behind in the march towards scientific and technological advancement.

Over the Year Program

Our Over The Year Program offers a diverse range of courses and engaging competitions throughout the year, providing a continuous opportunity for girls to explore and deepen their knowledge in STEAM subjects.

Join us and take advantage of this year-round program to learn, explore, and create in our comprehensive STEAM classes. Discover new interests and develop skills that will pave the way for your future success!

Program Details:

  1. Duration: Courses are held throughout the year, typically in 1-2 hour sessions, allowing for thorough exploration of various STEAM topics.

  2. Frequency: Classes are scheduled at different times to accommodate busy schedules and ensure ongoing learning.
